1. Information We Collect

Our apps are designed to operate locally on your device and generally do not collect personal data. However, certain information may be collected automatically through platform services:

• Device and usage information: such as device model, OS version, app performance metrics, crash logs, and analytics — collected via Google Play Services or Firebase.
• Microphone access (StringApps Tuner & Capture Music Notes): used solely for audio input (tuning, note detection). Audio is processed on-device and NOT recorded, stored, or transmitted.
• Camera access (Capture Music Notes): used strictly for capturing images of music notes. Images remain on your device unless you manually export or share them.

2. How We Use This Information

We use the collected data only to:

• Enable core app functionality (tuning, note detection, image capture, sheet processing);
• Improve app stability, quality, and performance;
• Diagnose crashes and technical issues;
• Optimize user experience.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or share your personal information. Data is only shared in these limited cases:

• Service Providers: Google Play Services and Firebase (crash reporting, analytics).
• Legal obligations: if required to comply with law enforcement or regulatory requests.

5. Microphone, Camera & Storage Permissions

• Microphone: used only for real-time tuning and note detection. No audio is recorded or uploaded.
• Camera: used only to capture images of sheet music. Images stay local to the device.
• Storage: used only to save or load files at your request.

Permissions are requested in-app at runtime and can be disabled anytime in device settings.

6. Data Retention

We do not store or maintain personal data on our servers. Any data created inside the app remains on your device unless you explicitly share or export it.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect data processed by our apps. Since nearly all data stays on-device, risks are minimized. However, no mobile application can guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our apps can be used by all ages, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us immediately.

9. International Users

If you use our apps outside your home country, your information may be processed according to applicable local laws, but no cross-border data transfer is performed by us.
